Pirate Town series 2008, this one of Amber Renee outside the main building.
You can’t see it in this shot but the smokestack on top of the building went up around 150 feet. It was one of the defining characteristics of the lot. The skate park was also inside. I don’t know the exact story but a lot of the vert ramps in the skate park were cemented in by skaters and punk groups who brought that and whatever else they could to help support the ramps. I remember seeing one wood section of a ramp supported by old TVs and microwaves.
I have some photos of shoots I did in the skate park that I’ll be posting later as I find them.
